My Case: My trucks were stolen in Sabine County by Dale Mathews, sold to Kenny Lyons who's friend forged title papers in his Hemphill Texas office and sold my truck to Freddie Smith for $450. The City Police are not interested because trucks were stolen in Sabine county. The Sabine Sheriff doesn't believe they have been stolen, they thinks I gave them away and would rather charge me with extortion or something. The Texas Department of Transportation has sent me my new titles which I applied for we will see tomorrow if my trucks are returned..

Charles Case: Charles registered trailer has been stolen and the Sheriff may be bringing it back. 10/10/09 Kenny Lyons has a yard sale in the City of Hemphill many of the items for sale were stolen from Charles Beckett, by Dale Mathews and sold to Kenny Lyons. The City Police are not interested because this is a Sabine County problem. The Chief of Police (he Says) thinks it a misunderstanding between some good old friends.

These may be good old friends of Charles, But I don't have any friends. Tom Stevens

Charles Becket 77 years old went to hospital for 3 months.
08/25/09 My first letter I sent to City Police and Sabine Sheriff Office my trucks have been sitting in City Hemphill and one being driven around the country.
update10/04/09 Nothing has been done about returning my 2 stolen trucks or any of Charles' stolen property. Freddie Smith has stopped by wanting me to sign a Bill of Sale which I declined which would give him the truck. He would like to have my real signature.
Freddie seems to have problems trying to sell his truck with my name forged on his title.
We have been waiting for someone to to the right thing for more than 2 months, and still waiting. As long a the Sheriff Office won't let me file them stolen, not much is happening.

So far I have complained in person to DMV and DMV online, City Police, Sabine Sheriff Office, My Texas State Senate Rep, Dallas News, Good Morning East Texas, the Texas Governor, Law Dept. Texas A&M, Law College Houston, I mailed some paperwork and forged title pictures to DPS in Lufkin. (10-07-09) A few more, Texas house of Representative Chisum, National Bureau of Autotheft, a few local churches, Hemphill City Hall, and a few others, Someone is going to care about doing the right thing and Texas Title law..

While he was gone some of his so called friends stole/sold most of his belongings.
Stored on his property was 2 trucks legal owner Thomas Stevens 77, who thought Charles was dead, and they were going to clean up the property. They came by and got Thomas Stevens(me) to one sign a duplicate title form for one truck. As it turned out Dale Mathews was not the property owner, the owner of the property Dwane E,. Rutherford, deceased 11-7-99. No one has any right to cleanup or sell anything. Kenny Lyons bought trucks from Dale Mathews and Kenny sold one truck to Freddie Smith for $450. Freddie came by and showed me his Duplicate title and I took a few pictures, The titles were signed Thomas Stevens but not by me, my name was forged 2 times and again on one application duplicate title.

Now, I my trucks have been stolen, no one has paid me any money, they are still in my name and they were moved without my permission. Seems simple enough to me and the local DMV office they say I am the owner of the trucks..
When I go back to Sherriff's department and try to file for a stolen trucks(s), on the phone this call is recorded Deputy George Griffith says, I could be subject have charges filed aginst me for Extortion by asking Kenny $2000 for my trucks.

Also, I could be prosicuted for filing false theft charges, as they are working on it.
My original tittles were no good, so later that day 9/23/2009 , I am filling for a duplicate title again, just like they did.
Now the Judge is going to tell us who owns the trucks... More original letter I wrote and the forged Title

10-02-09 Friday - I contacted DPS by phone - The lady said she would have whoever was investigating call me - They called Sabine County - Deputy Sherriff Griffith called me and said he was working on it. The truck is in my name, I don't have insurance, they are driving it around and I suspect it is going over county lines and I think I am responsible. No one here in Sabine County seems to be concerned, since the ones who stole the truck have all the right forged paperwork..
I would think some one in Law Enforcment could/would stop them from driving my truck around.
